this story
Which UK Garage label is making a comeback?

The rumour mill began today after speculation of a classic UK Garage label revival.

UK Garage legends Locked On

An industry source has claimed that Locked On records is planning a comeback. Not much is known of this apparent rebirth of the garage giant.

It’s claimed there are new releases in the pipeline and a new website that will boast the full back catalogue for download.

With over 100 releases and several commercial successes, Locked On is arguably one of the greatest UK Garage labels of all time.

The return of Locked On will be a massive boost to the UK Garage community and hopefully spawn some new club smashers.

i like the idea – but was wondering wether they would continue with releasing more bouncy Garage or even grime, or if they take it back to the roots by releasing 4×4 and 2 Step…

I’m not sure if they’re ever going to be that groundbreaking than back in the days… Maybe depending wether Andy Lewis will be back on track.

Good to hear that the label is back I think the whole idea will aid the scene and move it to a more professional and business orientated scene (A Force to Be Reckoned With)

Good news. Let’s hope it’s true..

This may sound really weird, but after seeing DJ Pencil’s Locked On mix on the Uptown forum I had a little thought that Locked On were about to make a comeback.. more due to the fact that all the old guard want a piece of the pie these days, but strange nonetheless.

    Big up!
